Hello Lord 

I don’t feel too good this morning.

So I want to yield myself into the care of your loving arms,

To nestle down like a baby, knowing all is well under your control.

I don’t know why this affliction has come upon me,

and any thoughts I have are shallow, skimming the surface.

But I do know the deep, deep love of Jesus

holding me up.

That God’s ways are not my ways and his thoughts are very deep.

Too deep to penetrate with my little mind.

 

Holy Spirit, intercede for me

With your sighs too deep for words.

Look into the abyss where I have fallen.

That I may have strength today

To do God’s will,

And be the person you want me to be

Becoming into your likeness.
