KNOTS, TWISTS AND FAITH IN GOD
Just as I am
You love me
as I am,
and just living with that thought
makes me eternally grateful.
You really love me.
And it’s not the face I put on in the morning that you love,
the ‘how are you?’ ‘It’s fine’ face,
the smile and the world smiles with you face,
it’s deep inside, the real me,
the worried me,
the scared me,
the angry me,
the frustrated me,
as well as the happy me,
the at-peace me.
You love me
as I am,
and just living with that thought
makes me eternally grateful.
